Where Culture Meets Education

Arabic is one of the core subjects in the Diploma Department. In Grade 1, students begin by learning how to write the Arabic letters in connected forms and recognize their sounds with diacritical marks (harakat). They then gradually progress in mastering language rules and developing writing skills, enabling them to construct simple and grammatically correct sentences.
As students advance through the levels, they deepen their understanding of grammar and improve their writing skills. By Grades 4 and 5, they start learning sentence parsing (i'rab) and how to build complete, well-structured sentences. By the end of this stage, students are able to write stories based on proper linguistic foundations and read fluently with expression and comprehension.
